Follow-ups that escalate and know when to stop
Chasing documents should get firmer over time, ease off the instant a client responds, and lean in harder as a deadline nears. The cadence now does all three. Email can step up to an SMS nudge where the firm has connected Twilio, and stays honest about it where the firm hasn't. Any client engagement stops the chase, the cadence tightens automatically near a deadline, and every part of it can be tuned per client.
Escalate, then stop on a response
The chase steps up only as far as it needs to, and stops the moment the client engages.
- →The document-chase cadence escalates an email into an SMS nudge, gated on the firm's Twilio key, with an honest available once SMS is connected message otherwise.
- →Stop-on-response halts the chase the moment a client engages, whether that's a received document or an inbound reply.
- →Partner escalation is the final tier when a client still hasn't engaged.
Deadline-aware and per-client
The cadence tightens as a deadline nears, and the firm default can be overridden per client.
- →Within 30 days of a filing deadline the cadence tightens automatically.
- →Per-client overrides let you tune the sequence, the cadence, and auto-send on top of the firm default.
Fixes & improvements
- •The chase now stops on any client engagement (a received document or an inbound reply), not just on a manual close.
- •The SMS step is honest where Twilio isn't connected, showing available once SMS is connected instead of silently doing nothing.
